Hours and Location

Belfer is open to University students, staff, and faculty, as well as to the general public for research from 8:30 am to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

No appointment is necessary to use the collection. However, if you have specific or detailed research needs or are planning a large research project, we might be able to better help you if you contact us in advance of your arrival.

We are located adjacent to E.S. Bird Library, the main library at Syracuse University. Our entrance is behind the Faculty Center, on the east side of the main library building (Schine Student Center is on the west side of the library). Please come inside the entryway and ring the bell to come in.
