At its discretion, SCRC may use its own equipment and staff time to produce electronic scans of materials from its collections; rates below are for this in-house service.

 Publication Permission:

Permission to reproduce images from SCRC collections within a publication (including print, digital, web, moving image and performance) must be obtained in advance and in writing from the SCRC by completing the appropriate Request to Publish form in PDF. Please note that we require the hard copy of this form with original signature.

SCRC charges permission fees for requests to publish reproductions of items from its collections. These fees are assigned by SCRC and are subject to change based on publication/project specifications. They reflect one-time, non-exclusive use and are in addition to any direct costs or service fees associated with making a reproduction. These fees are based on ownership of the material and are separate from those that may be imposed by the copyright/estate holder.

Permission to use quotations from SCRC collections within a publication (including print, digital, web, moving image and performance) or to publish a manuscript must be obtained in advance and in writing from the SCRC by completing the appropriate Request to Publish form in PDF. Publication fees associated with using quotations or publishing manuscripts are assessed on a case by case basis and are assigned by SCRC staff.

Sales Tax:

Sales tax of 8% is added to all orders fulfilled locally or shipped to addresses in New York State.

Full payment is required in advance of shipping.
