The Digital Services Program Development Team will promote the development, effectiveness, and sustainability of services that facilitate direct user creation, transformation, analysis, and reconfiguration of digital content to support research, teaching, and learning. The Team will accomplish the entirety of its work and retire by January 17, 2003.

The Team will develop and offer appropriate SUL communication about the nature of digital services and example applications in academic research libraries. It will consult broadly in within SUL to determine staff understanding and information needs regarding emerging services.

The Team will review and analyze the SUL Strategic Plan, current SUL services and programs, and relevant organizational issues to develop a vision for digital services in SUL, broadly defining the goals of the SUL Digital Services Program no later than January 17, 2003.
